Imagination Overdrive was founded in 1994 by Ed Kevorkian in Palm Beach, Florida, with a simple passion: bringing joy to people through the art of balloon twisting. What started as a one-man show at local restaurants and birthday parties has grown into something far greater.
Over the past three decades, Ed's relentless creativity and commitment to excellence transformed Imagination Overdrive into Florida's premier event design studio. Today, we create stunning balloon installations, immersive venue transformations, and captivating live entertainment for the most discerning clients in the state.
Our portfolio includes work at some of the most prestigious venues in the country, including Mar-a-Lago, The Breakers Palm Beach, Walt Disney World, and Universal Studios Orlando. Ed Kevorkian is a pioneer in the world of balloon artistry and event decor. With over 30 years of hands-on experience, he has elevated balloon design from simple party decorations into a recognized art form that graces the halls of Florida's finest venues.
What sets Ed apart is his personal involvement in every project. He personally designs every event concept, working closely with clients to understand their vision and then exceeding their expectations. His meticulous attention to detail and deep understanding of color, scale, and spatial design have earned him a reputation as one of the most sought-after event designers in the Southeast.
Beyond Imagination Overdrive, Ed is passionate about sharing his craft with the next generation. He runs BalloonAnimals.com, a training platform that teaches aspiring balloon artists the techniques and business skills they need to succeed, as well as iBalloon.com, the parent company behind his growing portfolio of event brands.
